Nancy Marie "Mickey" Allbritten

Funeral services for Mickey Allbritten of Ardmore, formerly of Sulphur, will be held at 11:00 a.m., on Monday, November 18, 2024, at the Mary Niblack Baptist Church, 898 Mary Niblack Road in Ardmore, with Pastors Jeremiah Custar and Dr. Derek Crawford officiating. Viewing will take place at the church., prior to the service, from 10:00 -10:30 a.m. The interment will be held at the Oaklawn Cemetery in Sulphur at 2:00 p.m. that afternoon.

Mickey was born December 2, 1935, in Davis, Oklahoma to the late Archie and Maggie Miller. She went to be with the Lord on November 12, 2024, in Ardmore, at the age of 88 years.

Mickey grew up in the country between Sulphur and Davis, OK. She started first grade in Davis at the age of five. During her years at Davis High School, she was a cheerleader and played basketball before graduating. She married Frank Worthy Allbritten in Davis, OK in 1953 and later moved to Bonham, TX, where they owned and operated the Red River Cafe, Grocery Store and Service Station. There, they raised their three children: Steve, Joe and Diane. In 1976, they moved back to Oklahoma where they started their own business, Allbritten Insurance Agency, in Sulphur. Spending time with her family and friends was Mickey's favorite activity. Mickey was a very social person and loved sharing stories. Her home served as the hub for her family and friends to gather. When it came to creating and painting porcelain dolls, Mickey was an exceptional artist.

She is survived by her two sons; Steve Allbritten and wife, Donna, of Mabank, TX and Joe Allbritten and wife, Lisa, of Bonham, TX; daughter, Diane Hall and husband Tracy of Ardmore, OK; nine grandchildren; Alicia Hicks, Stacy Meek, Jonathan Allbritten, Jesse Allbritten, Ashlea Sutphen, Amber Allbritten, Jason Hall, Jeremy Hall and Bradley Hall; and nine great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, Mickey was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Allbritten; sister, Dorothy Grissom; brother-in-law, Howell Grissom; sister-in-law, Ann Baughman; brother-in-law, Minton Baughman and her great grandson, Isaac Spiller.

Serving as pallbearers will be her grandsons; Jesse Allbritten, Jonathan Allbritten, Jason Hall, Jeremy Hall, Bradley Hall and cousin, Buddy Joe Vinyard. Honorary pallbearers will be Scott Sutphen, Robby Meek, Bryant Hicks and Tommy Joe "Bo" Thomas.

Services are entrusted to Hale's Funeral Home of Sulphur.
