Funeral services for Richard Wayne Jolly will be held at 10:00 AM, on Saturday, September 19, 2026, at the Green Hill Cemetery, in Davis, OK. Pastor Willard McCartney, Jr will officiate the service.

Richard was born on October 15, 1946, in Ardmore, OK to the late Richard A. & Wanda Faye (Cox) Jolly. He passed away peacefully on Thursday, September 10, 2026, in Duncan, OK at the age of 79.

In 1959, Richard and his family relocated to Davis from Springer, Oklahoma. A dedicated member of the FFA, he earned numerous awards for showing livestock. After graduating from Davis High School in 1964, he pursued higher education at East Central University, where he obtained a bachelor's degree in business in 1968. During this time, Richard served two years in the United States Army Reserves. After graduation, he moved to Arlington, Texas, where he worked at General Motors for a few years before returning to Oklahoma. He embarked on a long and successful career with Farmers Insurance Group in Oklahoma City and eventually Ardmore, serving as an insurance claims adjuster for the last three decades of his professional life.

Richard had a boundless passion for craftsmanship. He enjoyed spending his spare time restoring and rebuilding classic cars. Richard designed and built multiple homes in which he lived and created countless memories.

Survivors include his son, Dr. Richard William Jolly & wife Christina of Gainesville, TX; daughter, Dr. Valerie Jolly Sandusky & husband Keith of Davis, OK; son, Josh Jolly; ten grandchildren, Ariel Jolly, Veronica Jolly, Teresa Jolly, Natalie Jolly, Richard Jolly, Miriam Jolly, Patrick Jolly, Zachariah Jolly, Nicholas Jolly and Victoria Sandusky; two sisters, Carol Crawford and Ginger Tigert & husband Randy; one brother, Michael Jolly; as well as several nieces and nephews.

Services have been "Entrusted To" HALE'S Funeral Home of Davis, OK.
