Ronnel Lee Thomasson

Ronnie was born Jan 10, 1944 in Davis, to the late Lee & Lois (Farris) Thomasson. He died Friday, June 19, 2015 in Sulphur, at the age of 71 years 5 months & 9 days. Ronnie and Darlene Coll were united in marriage on Feb 3, 1967 in Gainesville, TX.

Ronnie grew up in Davis, where he graduated from high school in 1963. After high school, he worked at a local feed store for a short time, prior to moving to Oklahoma City, where he began working for Southwest Electric Co. In 1966 Ronnie transferred from Oklahoma City to Ardmore, where he remained with Southwest until 2004, when he went to work for EJ Iron Works in Gene Autry. Ronnie retired from EJ in 2013. In his spare time he enjoyed farming and ranching, working in his shop and helping his neighbors.

Survivors include his wife Darlene; two sons, Coll Thomasson & wife Jessica and Kelby Thomasson; one grandson, Randon Thomasson, all of Davis; as well as six sisters, Neta Adams of Tyler, TX, Glenda Harper of Sulphur, Eva Meador of Davis, Wilma Hughes & husband Rocky of Sulphur, Beverly Pence of Ardmore and Gayle Johnson of Davis.
