Shelly Annette (Hill) Hamrick was born January 7, 1970, in Dallas, TX, to the late Wylie Gene & Eva Charlene (Cox) Hill. She died on Monday, August 25, 2025, in Sulphur, at the of 55 years 7 months and 18 days.

Shelly grew up in Texas, moving to Oklahoma in 2007, from Bowie. She spent several years working at Arbuckle Wilderness, Snak-Shak and Arbuckle Fried Pies prior to working for the Chickasaw Nation. During her time with the Nation, she worked and managed several of their CTS Stores. At the time of her death, Shelly was managing the “Chickasaw Market Place” gift shop in Ada.

Shelly loved spending time with her family, especially her grandbabies. She enjoyed cooking and trying traditional native recipes. Other hobbies and enjoyments included riding horses, attending the annual Rednecks with Paychecks event, attending concerts and caring for her dogs.

Survivors include her three children, Aaron Willet of Sulphur, Sharleigh Willett of Wynnewood, and Tony James “TJ” Goolsby of Sulphur; sister, Delina Hill of Arkansas; two brothers, Brad Hill of Davis, and Wylie Hill, Jr. of Norman; as well as grandchildren, Kaydnce, Raelee, Huxley, Baker, Blakely, Destiny, Dovonte, Dequane, and Diamond. 

In addition to her parents, Shelly was preceded in death by one son, Lex Allen Love.

Funeral services will be held 10:00 AM, Wednesday, September 3, 2025, at Hale’s Memorial Chapel in Davis, with Pastor Willard McCartney, Jr officiating. Interment will follow at the Green Hill Cemetery in Davis.
