Graveside services for Wanda Louise Pagels will be held 10:00 AM, Friday, September 25, 2020 at the Green Hill Cemetery in Davis, with Pastor Tom Hefley officiating.
Wanda was born September 6, 1947 in Oklahoma City, to the late Ben and Mary Elizabeth Tullis. She died Friday, September 18, 2020 in Ardmore, at the age of 73 years and 12 days. Wanda and Kenneth E. Pagels were married on August 17, 1993 in Gainesville, TX. He preceded her in death on August 19, 2014.
Wanda grew up in Oklahoma City, graduating from Central High School. She spent several years working for the Pinkerton Security Company in Oklahoma City, prior to moving to Sulphur in 1983. While living here local, Wanda worked in security for Cedar Blue, worked as reserved deputy for the Murray County Sheriff’s Dept. and retired in 2005 as a security guard for the Chickasaw Nation. In her spare time, she enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and doing needle-point work.
Survivors include two daughters, Tina Jeter & husband Rocky of Hennepin and Diane Metcalf & husband Aaron of Oklahoma City; one son, Michael Nevious of Oklahoma City six grandchildren, Heather Stokes & husband Michael, Lacie Kennedy, Dusty Bryant & wife Stephanie, Joshua Bryant & wife Rheana, Mikey D. Nevious and Nicholas Nevious; several great-grandchildren; as well as one brother, R.L. Tullis
In addition to her parents and husband, Wanda was preceded in death by five siblings, Dorothy, Beatrice, R.B., R.G. and Ray.
