Obituary for Jerry Lee Dilbeck

Jerry was born on February 1, 1964 in Sulphur to Jerry Lynn & Margaret (Gordon) Dilbeck. He died Tuesday, December 19, 2017, in Norman, at the age of 53 years, 10 months & 18 days.

Jerry grew up in the Sulphur area where he attended school. Later he joined the Army National Guards. During his 10 years of military service to our country, Jerry spent time in Germany and the Operation Desert Storm. Following his military service, Jerry spent many years working as a maintenance manager for several apartment complexes and rental agencies in the Oklahoma City area. He was an avid fan of OU football and enjoyed playing bingo, fishing and visiting with his family and friends.

Survivors include two daughters, Jessica Elrod & husband Joshua and Jordyn Dilbeck; one son, Jake Dilbeck, all of Oklahoma City; one grandchild, Sailor Elrod; his father, Jerry Lynn Dilbeck of Mississippi; the mother of his children, Jeanne Hogan; two sisters, Rhonda Wolfe of Mississippi and Treasa Caldwell of Norman; and one brother, David Dilbeck of Virginia.

Jerry was preceded in death by his mother, Margaret; and one brother, Terry Dilbeck.
